more than just being quietly frustrated

10 years in the workforce... i can't even see the word "retirement" in the horizon.. fucking sad...
wonder why ppl can slave all their lives.... go through all the office politics... withstand fucked up colleagues... just to get their CPF at 62. (by the time i am ready to retire... its probably CPF@70)

i just wanna run away.... as far as i can.... from everyone.... i dun wanna put up with it anymore.. any more resolve and patience will not make me a better person. this is worse than a break up. i think i breached all barriers... gonna implode soon.... imploding now actually...

what is a simple life? having your own space, grow some plants, chill out in the living room, watch sun rise and sun set? before all that... i gotta own my own space... means i have to work for it... like bursting a balloon yah??

I actually have some EQ in me left...

Your EQ is 120

50 or less: Thanks for answering honestly. Now get yourself a shrink, quick!
51-70: When it comes to understanding human emotions, you'd have better luck understanding Chinese.
71-90: You've got more emotional intelligence than the average frat boy. Barely.
91-110: You're average. It's easy to predict how you'll react to things. But anyone could have guessed that.
111-130: You usually have it going on emotionally, but roadblocks tend to land you on your butt.
131-150: You are remarkable when it comes to relating with others. Only the biggest losers get under your skin.
150+: Two possibilities - you've either out "Dr. Phil-ed" Dr. Phil... or you're a dirty liar.

non-conformist...

Yes i have succumbed to the food-blogging hype... but far from being a peer amongst the standards of Chubby Hubby, Hungryboy, Sparklette, Singapuradailymakan etc.. i chose the route less travelled... i chose to start blogging about Bad Foods..

Bad Foods in terms of food quality, service standards, hygienie standards etc..
So we kick off with this very sad picture of a consumer who had her good food expectations burst! awwww.... :(

You see...all this happened at a place called... (pls look >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>)

(location - shopping centre opposite hong lim complex)

It was another case of going against better judgement and giving benefit of the doubt to this food place which we walked past several times but never went in.

We kicked off with the pizza, rosti with smoked salmon and calamari...

The pizza was alright.. nothing much to shout about... (probably the best of the 3 since we finished it)

The rosti... a bloody bad job by the cook.. it tasted half cooked and the salmon looked a dull colour.. (this one was abandoned halfway.. no pics cos dull looking smoked salmon is GROSS!)

The WORST! Yes! THE WORST was the CALAMARI!! I KID YOU NOT! LOOK AT THE PIC!

You call this calamari?! Wah lan eh!! More like fried rubber bands lor!!! PUI! Bloody thing costed us $10.00 ok! KNN.. $10.00 can eat 1 bowl of Penang Laksa and a scoop of Sweet Potato Ice Cream at Haato leh!

And so.. you know what i am trying to tell you now... Avoid that place... (see pic of napkin for restoran name) Unless you are into fried rubber bands.. then i have nothing to say liao... LPPL.

My Inner Self - Reflected (through a tarot card)

You are The Devil

Materiality. Material Force. Material temptation; sometimes obsession

The Devil is often a great card for business success; hard work and ambition.

Perhaps the most misunderstood of all the major arcana, the Devil is not really "Satan" at all, but Pan the half-goat nature god and/or Dionysius. These are gods of pleasure and abandon, of wild behavior and unbridled desires. This is a card about ambitions; it is also synonymous with temptation and addiction. On the flip side, however, the card can be a warning to someone who is too restrained, someone who never allows themselves to get passionate or messy or wild - or ambitious. This, too, is a form of enslavement. As a person, the Devil can stand for a man of money or erotic power, aggressive, controlling, or just persuasive. This is not to say a bad man, but certainly a powerful man who is hard to resist. The important thing is to remember that any chain is freely worn. In most cases, you are enslaved only because you allow it.
